Coventry University Fit Reading Group
This reading group comes together every month (apart from August and December) to discuss and critique seminal papers in the field of organisational fit and related topics. We are a group of people interested in the field of fit, even though most of us are fairly new to the subject. Hence, this reading group will begin with some of the most seminal articles in the field and during the first year (i.e. 2009-2010), we will chart the development of ideas in this field.
We meet at 2pm on the third Wednesday of every month for about an hour. The format is that we choose two papers (or one if the chosen one is particularly long) for each section (see below) and a different person takes the lead on the paper. This means producing a one page summary of the key points and using these to initiate a discussion on the paper.
Everyone and anyone is welcome. All we ask is that you come having read the papers being discussed that week.
Some follow-up papers have been posted to help guide the reading of people who get people who wish to read more on this theme. Please note, these are not required readings for any session.
